Drop Everything You're Doing...
In fact, Drop the World! Curtis B's label Drop the World is coming hard with some big tracks in multiple genres. Curtis is a master of Ableton and cranking out tunes every chance he gets. He is a true studio slave, but at the same time keeping the element of live performance in mind every gig he plays out. Having releases across multiple labels including some killer breaks releases on illeven eleven as well as electro house and dubstep on Royal One, Zone, and Static System. His latest release scheduled for this friday is dubstep featuring U Mad Bro? A long buildup to a totally sweet drop bro, jussayin'! Although Curtis brings it hard for all the bros, he's got something funky up his sleeve at all times. Have a listen and check out the rest of the releases on Drop the World including the most recent featuring Complicate out now on.

Smooth Electro Sounds & Raging Dubstep Pounds
Welcome to another week, hopefully it's starting out as well for you as it is for me! I found this preview from Mord Fustang (aka Miles Dyson) this morning to a very pleasant surprise. Intelligent synths and huge builds are a trademark while the switch to dubstep threw me for a loop. A huge tune sure to please all crowds is all I really have to say about this. Miles' production is super clean on esvery track and he's been in the game long enough to know exactly how to make the floor churn. Consistency in release quality and bangin' sound design make him a force to be reckoned with.
Mord Fustang - A New World by Mord Fustang
Not quite the same vibe as Mord Fustang, but another hot dubstep track from none other than Elite Force. Never limiting himself to one style and making breakthroughs across all genres, Simon has his own unique take on any tune he touches. Keep in mind this is a work in progress and according to Simon "A little something I cooked up in the lab on my travels in Australia / NZ over the past couple of weeks." Hopefully a full release will be dropped, but only time will tell.

Epic Progressive and Energetic
Being a long time supporter of Plasmapool Records I'm not surprised by the quality coming from them lately. Very polished production is one of their trademarks and bangin' tracks is another. Their latest doesn't fall short in either of these categories. With a more epic feel to the breakdowns and builds the recent releases under Mord Fustang and now Virtu are sure to put it down proper. Waiting for this one to drop to get some dancefloor reactions, which I'm 100% sure will be positive.
Virtu - Arsenal by Plasmapool
Fussy Boy - Gold (Mord Fustang Remix) by Mord Fustang
With a clean progressive breaks feel, Vize delivers it straight from the pacific northwest with his own flair and flavor. I really like the piano breakdown and the techy synths to tie it all together. Be on the lookout for a new release from Vize and Echoik in the coming month or so. I've been bangin' it out every set I've played for the past couple weeks with a great dancefloor response, soon to come on the blog!
Decay - Refuse (Vize Remix) by Vize
Well we've covered our first two topics of the day, now on to the energetic tune of the day. REL1 at it again with a hard hitting electro breaks re-rub of Fast Foot. Staying true to the hype, REL1 delivers wobbly vocal synths along with gut-wrenching kicks. The only justice for his tracks is to be played on a club system, so cop the free DL and see for yourself.
Fast Foot - Race My Music (REL1 RE-RUB) by REL1
To recap todays topics we will tie them all together in Microprophet's newest drum and bass mix with elements of each. Starting out a bit progressive and classic with the dnb Robin S remix, Microprophet takes you on a half hour journey through some ear friendly dnb to start out your day or end out your night. Beware though, it does get hype, so be prepared for the ill behavior!

True Party Rockers A.Skillz & Specimen A
A.Skillz just released his series of vinyl bootlegs in mp3 format available for download here. Not only that but he also released a mix that in under 30 minutes, encompasses practically the entire series (vol 1-10) of bootlegs! Not only are his bootlegs some of the freshest out there, but his skills on the decks are to match.
Insane Bangers Vol 1-10 Mix by A.Skillz
Next up is Specimen A with a proper bootleg of "Wicked" Wilson Pickett's - In the Midnight Hour. The original is a classic R&B track released on Atlantic Records in 1965 recorded in Nashville at Stax Records where Pickett made his big break. As a kid I listened to oldies music on the local radio station with my dad and remember almost every word to a certain few classics, this being one of them. This remix may have a nostalgic effect on me, but I can guarantee it will rock the dancefloor the same.

Gettin' Slimey and Magua's Mix
Sludge Records is steadily dropping great tracks and the latest from Specimen A keeps up to par. The vibe from sludge is that of intelligent dub, grimey yet refined enough to make anyone get down. Donna Dee's vocals fit like a glove in this track and the overall energy of Sludge. It reminds me of the Deekline and Wizard track with Yolanda - Ready For Your Love. Love the female vox, love the slimey synths, love the total package, check the preview.

Magua from Columbus is up to no good with a new Electro House mix posted up just last night. Check the download for sure as this is a keeper you'll be putting on your iThing in no time... Filled with a ton of great tracks including that of Columbus's own Digiraati. Peep the mix, leave a comment!

All Things Awesome and Upcoming!
First off, you need your breakbeat thrill today so here's another one hot remix off the cloud from Access Denied! Although it's just a teaser it's a pleaser. Grinding synths regress to wobbling grime and transition back out to breakbeat bangers!

Breakbeat Banger with Gustolab
Fixx and Keith McKenzie do it again along with Gustolab on the Holla If You See Me EP out now on Beatport. Gustolab is out of NYC and dropped a hot remix on i11even eleven with two of my fave vocalists over breaks -- Sue Cho and Whiskey Pete. Originally from Peru he moved to Miami when he was 20 and fell in love with EDM. After making moves in Miami he relocated to Brooklyn to start his own production company and keep on the grind. Here's just a quick preview of his remix and his 2011 mix to get you bumpin'!

Put up your dukes and THROWDOWN!
Give us a Break! and Urban Pioneer are filling this weekend with broken beats and four on the floor rhythms at the Main Event located at 835 Main Street downtown Cinci. If you haven't been out before you're in for some aural excitement from the JBL SRX soundsystem being one of the cleanest systems in the city with a sizable dance floor to match. B-boy or wallflower you'll be sure to move your feet to Stuart Allen, one of the newest members of the Future Sound of Breaks and founder of Give us a Break! out of Dayton, OH. Stu's sets span the gamut from dubstep to booty breaks and if you're lucky a bit of high energy drum and bass to keep the blood pressure just right. Goodvibez, another major proponent in the gaub crew will be dropping his signature sound on Cinci. Goodvibez is all about what the name implies. His in styles run from techy breaks, to hip hop, and anywhere in between with one theme in common: positive thinking and dancing your ass off. Resident DJ and party coordinator Rick Always will be dropping some subwoofer treats on you with bass heavy house music. C-Los will be leaving you wanting more with some four on the floor to stomp your feet to. Here's a quick taste of Stu's latest mix:
