Breakbeat Allstars, Summer Vibes, and Slimey Grimey

Vize brings some breakbeat energy with the flavor of Echoik in their newest collab release "Lights".  I can say I've been playing this since they dropped me a promo copy and the dancefloor responds proper!  The whole tracks carries an energy to it that is not only some true breakbeat but a nice crunchy lead and growling subs compliment it just right.  Keep a look since the track drops July 12th on Beatport!  Next he just released a FREE 320 of his Mumdance reflip which is killin it for summer time breakbeat vibes.  Really upbeat and well thought out it's quite a treat to get bits like this for free.  It maintains a positive feeling throughout with killer breakdowns to match the drops just right.  Check em both, and be on the look for more up and coming material from both Vize and Echoik in the near future.

Before you cross the street you look left, look right, and you're ready to go.   Left/Right is pumping out some high quality tunes along with Digital Pizza and the conglomeration of cohorts that is Team Awesome.  The most impressive parts of Left/Right's work are the attention to sound design, polished production, and quick pattern variance that keeps the whole track interesting.  Whether going for a slimey bassline or a true school break vibe he can hit it on the nose.  Check out the newest release on Downbeat due out on 7/11 to keep pumpin' the sludge!

Specimen A drops it again with a Chasing Shadows remix that really hits home for me.  It's a breaky remix that still keeps a down low grimey element.  I really like the fact that it's a mixture of killer upper basslines, broken drumbeats, and quirky synths!

I was really surprised to see a message in my inbox about this one, but I certainly would have been giving it a once over either way.  Defunct!, Loc E!, AGAG, and Figure rock the spot with a mildly disco influenced tune to definitely get you bouncin'.  The tempo drop really takes it down low and I can already tell the dance floor response with this one, it'll be a wild one.  Check it!

With many quality tracks on the label over the past few years the Kick It! crew does it again with their newest release featuring Trevor Rockwell.  Each preview hits a bit of a different vibe which is what I like to see in an upcoming EP.  From ravey synths to stuttered vocals and a wobbly bassline this is a "cop it all" type of release!
